Safety Regulations Text
1.- RISK: Like any activity carried out in a natural environment, this activity involves risk. As a client, I commit to listening attentively and following the guides' instructions, especially regarding safety. Furthermore, as this is an organized group activity, I understand that I must maintain eye contact with the group at all times.
2.- NATURAL ENVIRONMENT: The contracted activities take place on natural terrain where I may be exposed to a series of risks beyond the company's control, which include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Falls,
- Impacts caused by natural elements (rocks, branches, ice, etc.),
- Cuts and burns,
- Frostbite and hypothermia,
- Insect bites,
- Animal attacks, and
- Damage caused by atmospheric phenomena such as lightning strikes, rain, or
hail, as well as emotional damage such as stress and/or depression.
As a client, I understand and accept that these phenomena may occur.
3.- PHYSICAL CONDITION: The activities to be carried out require a minimum physical condition. As a client, I understand that I must be prepared to perform them. Similarly, it is essential to have a good mental condition to maintain attention, composure, and communication skills. The technical characteristics of each excursion (duration, kilometers, elevation gain) are detailed in its description, specifically in the "Route" section. The link to the itinerary (track) is also provided so that the client can assess their physical condition and the demands of the route. 4.- NATURAL SPACE: Activities are carried out in natural environments, sometimes in Natural Parks protected by law. As a client, I commit to minimizing the impact my actions in the environment may cause. This means, in all cases, not leaving any solid waste (even organic), burying my waste, keeping to existing paths or trails, not raising my voice so as not to disturb animals, not damaging plants or wall nests, not making fires, etc.
5.- INSURANCE: The contracted activity is covered by Civil Liability and Accident insurance. Full information on the conditions and coverages of the insurance is available upon request.
I declare that:
1. I understand that the contracted activity is subject to the state of the natural environment and atmospheric conditions, and may be canceled in case of force majeure for the safety of the team and the participants.
2. I have read the route information and confirm that I meet both the physical and psychological conditions required to carry out the activity.
3. I do not suffer from any physical or mental illness, allergy, disability, nervous problems, pregnancy, or injury that advises against my participation in the activities. If so, I will inform the responsible guide as far in advance as possible and in any case before the start of the activity.
4. I have been informed of the inherent risks of practicing the activity, the place where they will be carried out, the necessary material for their development, and their technical difficulty.
5. I can swim (in the case of routes with a river or sea).
6. I will not smoke during the activity.
7. I am not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that could impair my abilities or alter my behavior, either before or during the execution of the activities.
8. I am solely responsible for my valuables during the activities.
